Copying and pasting from quickbooks pro timer windows#
These are, however, time consuming and for some business operations here I rely on being able to copy freely from the Linux side into the Windows guest. There are workarounds, such as pasting email contents into a Libre Office and then copying from there to paste into MS Word, or copying from Evolution and pasting into Wordpad, and then copying from that to paste into Word. I don't know, but this behavior is a bug - somewhere. The fact that I can paste once, the first time a new instance of the MS Word in the guest is opened (not just a new document under the same instance), makes this look as if Windows has more than one channel for the clipboard. This is very strange, and almost looks like a Windows problem, or an MS Word problem, except that I never had the problem under VMware 6. Copying from Firefox on the host OS into MS Word fails similarly. I am seeing it trying to paste from emails in Evolution on the host OS into MS Word in the guest, which is an operation I used to do frequently. Nor do I see the problem copying and pasting from one application in the guest OS to MS Word in the guest.

copy 2 copy and move 3 counter generator 1 coupon 4 coupon codes 3 coupon deletion 1 Coupon up to amount of money 1 coupons 38 cr 1 css 1. I don't see the problem pasting from an app in the host OS into Wordpad, nor do I see the problem pasting into MS Word if the host-side application from which I copy is Libre Office. Im running QuickBooks Pro 2014, and when I export my Weebly sales and bring them into QuickBooks, they are handled as a 'Sales Receipt' which is different than an invoice. This problem strangely seems to be application dependent in both the host OS and the guest OS. If I open the Clipbook Viewer in Windows, the copied text from the host OS app is visible, and if I start a new instance of MS Word in the guest OS, i once again get to paste the clipboard contents into it - once! Edit | Paste is disabled in the Word menu, and it's no longer possible to paste the clipboard contents from the host OS into the open Word document. Thereafter the contents of the clipboard are gone as far as MS Word is concerned. If a copy from a document in certain applications in Linux with Ctl-C, and then switch to the guest OS, I can start MS Word and paste into a document once, and only once.

On my new installation, this still works going between the guest Windows OS and apps in Linux, but it conditionally fails going from the host to the guest.

I could copy with Ctl-C from an application on the host OS and paste with Ctl-V in an application in the guest, and do the same thing between the guest and host. Previously, under VMware 6, copying and pasting worked flawlessly between the guest and host, going in both directions.

I migrated my guest files from a previous installation running VMware Workstation 6 on a host OS of Gentoo Linux, updated VMware Tools in the guest OS - Windows XP Professional - and everything mostly works OK. The new version of VMware Workstation is 7.1.4 build-385536, running on Ubunto "natty" (11.04). I've recently switched to new versions of VMware and Linux (my host OS).
